Apply for Internship at Highnote Music Therapy

Application deadlines:
January 1st for June start date
August 1st for January start date

All of the following materials must be submitted by the deadline to be
considered:

  1. Completed application (Found here – Email if there is any problems opening the link)
  2. Resume
  3. Unofficial transcript
  4. Letter of eligibility AND recommendation from music therapy director
  5. Two letters of recommendation from other professors or practicum supervisors
  6. Video recordings—please do not include clients in videos:
    a. Two selections with voice/piano; Verse-Chorus. Describe how you would
    use these songs in a music therapy session
    b. Two selections with voice/guitar; Verse-Chorus. Describe how you would
    use these songs in a music therapy session
  7. Please answer the following questions:
    a. What specific skills and experiences do you have that will benefit the
    clients and families at Highnote Music Therapy? (500 words)
    b. Describe your musical background and skills, including any skills you need
    to develop. (150-250 words)
    c. Describe your therapeutic skills, including any skills you need to develop.
    (150-250 words)
    d. If chosen, what might be a challenge for you throughout this internship?
    (150-250 words)

recommendations will be sent to highnotemusictherapy@gmail.com .
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
